Postcards

Here are some postcards that I received lately!

The first one is from Sue who’s thinking about submitting a penpal ad. (You should definitely do it – I’ll be happy to feature you!)

Sue 2

The second one is from Penny who used a trumpet stamp! (I used to play the trumpet in high school and even had my own silver one… Good memories!)

The third one is from my penpal Tina who took this gorgeous picture!

And the last one is from Daire in Estonia who found me through sendsomething.net

  1. When I chose the stamp, I had no idea that you played the trumpet. Nice to know. :)

I love that postcard from Budapest. And also the one from your friend Tina, I really like postcards with self-made pics.

    Have a great week, Julie!

  2. I’ll be sending you my ad soon then! Oh dear, did it took it that long to arrive? :-) Have a wonderful week, darling!

  3. Well Penny it was a fun coincidence then! Have a great week too xox

And Sue, it didn’t take that long to reach me, but you sent the postcard to my old address (I moved over 2 years ago) and I post stuff that I receive about a month later, so these 2 reasons explain the delay! I’m looking forward to getting your penpal ad! xox

  4. Pretty postcards! <3

Hello!

My name is Julie and I'm 37.
I'm French Canadian and fell
in love with an American,
so I'm now living in Vermont
with my wife.

I write letters, I love stationery and I have a handwriting fetish. I often eat sushi, still feel like I'm 16 and only wear skirts & dresses (with colorful tights when it's cold).

I'm happier with a mind full of ideas, a mailbox full of letters from my penpals, a shop full of stationery, a house full of pens and a day full of hugs.

This is me with my wife,
Denise. We met through the
League of Extraordinary
Penpals and are living
happily ever after in the
Stationery Kingdom.

Denise blogs here too and is
the one in charge of the
social media: Facebook,
Twitter and Pinterest.

She's 40 years old,
from South Dakota,
and in love with me, washi
tape & imperial rolls.
