A rainy Saturday…

It’s been gray and rainy since I woke up this morning so this will be a quiet day at home! However, I’m ready for some action tonight since I’m watching the UFC with Martin, Mario and Nicolas.

I don’t want to complain too much about the weather though because soon enough this will be the view from my apartment:

Snow 1

Snow 2

Snow 3

Snow 4

Plans for the weekend:

- bake this delicious pumpkin pie

- write a letter to my Lovely Letter partner

- do a few loads of laundry

- prepare some letter sets (Beau + The Ballerina)

- fill orders for La Papierre

- cuddle with Martin, Louis-Justin and the kitties

I think pac man fanny pack is my favourite…I want one of those.

“The newspaper cheese” and “how to make sheep from vegetables” are my favourite ^_^

  3. Yeah a pacman fanny pack would be pretty cool!

And I think that the person who searched for “how to make sheep from vegetables” might have been into bento foods!

  4. Pac man fanny pack?! WHA?! :)

This is a common one that leads to my blog: official justice league membership card. And here are some recent ones: 80s letters, stories told through pictures, jazzhands, punctuation abuse, and pen pal etiquette.

But my absolute favourite google search of recent months is this: i usually choose enough 60 coffee beans to make a cup of coffee beethoven

I don’t even know what that means, nor why it led to my blog. But it makes me happy.

  5. Laura, I see an interesting coincidence here… You and I have snail mail blogs and people have found us while searching for “coffee”. Hmmm…

And you know the pac man fanny pack one was because of you!

  6. pac man fanny pack has to be my favourite!

But, to insert a little sanity (?) into all this madness, the Beethoven coffee bean reference may have been because Beethoven always insisted on having exactly the right number of coffee beans ground to make his cup of coffee. Not sure whether it was 60, but in the face of all this weirdness, it hardly matters!

  7. Ah, this makes sense then! Lisa, you’re a living encyclopedia.

  8. You’re right — some of these are creepy. Some are funny and lots of people just can’t spell/type!

Hello!

My name is Julie and I'm 33.
I live in Québec (close to Montréal) and I speak French.

I write letters, I love stationery and I have a handwriting fetish. I often eat sushi, still feel like I'm 16 and only wear skirts & dresses (with colorful tights when it's cold).

I'm happier with a mind full of ideas, a mailbox full of letters from my penpals, a shop full of stationery, a house full of cats and a day full of hugs.
