Here’s an ad by Brittany in the USA, written on stationery that I designed! :)
Write to her at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Edited to add: Mystery solved! Brittany forgot to write the underscore in her ad… So her correct email address is email@example.com
To anyone who would like to submit a penpal ad before the end of the year, I still have a few open spots for December! See how to participate here.
I have a favor to ask to Spanish people!
My son’s school is studying countries this year and each classroom was assigned a different country when school started back in September. Louis-Justin is in the second grade and his country is Spain! He was excited because he already knew a few Spanish words and expressions since he went to Mexico 5 times. When his teacher was introducing new words in Spanish, she would often ask Louis-Justin to say them in front of his classmates since he picked up the right accent very quickly.
My son and I in Mexico – March 2010.
The kids mostly learn about the language and geography, so I thought that it would be really fun for them to get a few postcards from Spain! And that’s where you wonderful Spanish people come in.
Would you please send a postcard to my son and his classmates to wish them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year? I’m sure they would be over the moon. You could write a few sentences in Spanish and then write the translation in French or in English. These kids speak French as a first language but have been learning English for about a year. And I’m sure that their teacher understands English pretty well!
Also, if you have children, it would be great if they could say hello too!
Louis-Justin in Mexico – March 2012.
Who knows, if you enclose your address, you might even get a little something in return! You can send your postcard to the following address:
Julie & Louis-Justin
Thank you so much in advance to anyone who sends a postcard!
