Sarah, doesn’t your hat shop have an online website? I remember looking at it a while ago but I no longer have the link. I do like hats, but look absolutely ridiculous in most of them.

What is everyone up to this weekend? I met my friend’s 11 day old daughter on Friday and  she was adorable! I’m more than ready for another baby. Is anyone else wanting a baby or is it just me?!

The weather is gorgeous so I’m going out for a walk and I’ll write a letter outside for the rest of the afternoon. I hope you all have a beautiful day!

  1. Hey Julie! Thanks for letting the people know that Edmontonians are awesome! I think so,lol. If you’re looking for the shop…
Oh and Julie, there is a hat for everyone, you just have to spend some time trying on all different kinds of styles. Best advice, try on hats you’re not attracted to aswell because sometimes they surprise you. ;)

  2. Oooh, thank you for the link and for the tips!

  3. I LOVE HATS! And the stationery you used – and a lot of the same things you like! : ) Also – my name is Sara. I don’t think I can resist you….

  4. Ha, Sara, my instinct was right! For some reason I always seem to know who you’ll want to write to… ;)

  5. Julie – you could be the penpal matchmaker! : )

  6. And I kinda am! I matched penpals in the League of Extraordinary Penpals and will do it again soon! :)

My name is Julie and I'm 37.
I'm French Canadian and fell
in love with an American,
so I'm now living in Vermont
with my wife.

I write letters, I love stationery and I have a handwriting fetish. I often eat sushi, still feel like I'm 16 and only wear skirts & dresses (with colorful tights when it's cold).

I'm happier with a mind full of ideas, a mailbox full of letters from my penpals, a shop full of stationery, a house full of pens and a day full of hugs.

Read my Top 10 Quirks here.

This is me with my wife,
Denise. We met through the
League of Extraordinary
Penpals and are living
happily ever after in the
Stationery Kingdom.

Denise blogs here too and is
the one in charge of the
social media: Facebook,
Twitter and Pinterest.

She's 40 years old,
from South Dakota,
and in love with me, washi
tape & imperial rolls.
