I’ve been so busy with LEP this week (we’re getting so many new members, woohoo!) that I didn’t have a chance to design a new Stationery of the Week for the coming week. I also have so many orders coming in at La Papierre… Please somebody give me a 48 hour day or two so that I can catch up!
However, if anyone else wants a few sushi notepads, there’s still some time. I’ll let the PayPal button on my blog until tomorrow afternoon at least, and then I’ll take it down when I get the notepads printed.
Since I’m so busy AND I’m leaving for a 10 day vacation in Mexico next month, I might take a break from the SOTW project for a few weeks and start again when I come back in March. I’ll keep you updated!
If you’ve been following my blog for more than a few days, then you most likely know that I run the best superhero penpal club in the universe: the League of Extraordinary Penpals.
If you didn’t know this fact, then you need to learn it right away: I run the most awesome superhero penpal club in the galaxy! They don’t have penpal clubs on Mars yet, do they? I’d love to receive a letter from an alien penpal. I’m sure it would be pretty educational.
But I digress. LEP! It’s the penpal club Laura AKA Super Squirrel and I (AKA Super Sushi) created exactly one year ago. Laura was too busy saving the world, so she didn’t continue with LEP in 2014, but I’m getting ready for LEP 2.0 and let me tell you, that’s a boat you don’t want to miss, my friends!
LEP 2.0 is launching on February 1st, and I’m giving away free LEP stationery packs to the first 140 people who subscribe for a 12 month period. These packs include 12 sheets of writing paper, 4 envelopes, 3 postcards, and a LEP membership card. That’s right, I’m bribing you with stationery! Membership only reopened last night (it was closed for more than 3 weeks), and 62 of the free stationery packs have already been claimed. So quick, grab one of the remaining 78 sets and join us! (ETA: 30 left now!) We’re having a blast in our private Facebook group.
To learn more about the League of Extraorinary Penpals, you can read more About LEP here, and more About Us here. Also, please drop by the FAQ to find out that no, you don’t need to be a geek to become a member, but that you do indeed need at least one working hand (or foot/mouth) to join the club.
I can’t wait to show you around and let you meet my friends – because yes, that’s basically what LEP is: a big group of friends who enjoy writing letters and talking about it! We’re all waiting for you…
