Social media

Today is a big day!

It’s the day that Denise came to my rescue and created a Facebook page for my blog as well as a Pinterest account. I was already on Twitter, but wasn’t using it anymore because my hands were already full.

But Denise is the best – have I mentioned it yet? She refers to herself as my minion, but she’s much more than that. She’s my social media expert, my assistant and my love. *insert cheesy music here*

So please take a minute to like our brand new Facebook page and answer today’s question! We’ll post a different one every day, so it’s a great opportunity to discuss snail mail related topics with fellow letter writing enthusiasts. Be on the lookout for a giveaway or two… Soon!

While you’re at it, won’t you follow us on Twitter and give us a shout?

And I’m now completely in love with Pinterest and could spend hours and hours looking at pretty stationery, colorful mail art and unusual mailboxes. That would be dangerous, wouldn’t it?! Follow us and inspire us!

I’m proud to say that I now officially live in the 21st century!

Oh hello, social media…

  1. CONGRATULATIONS, Julie and Penpal of the Week. (Great work, D.) This EmPress does not yet (officially) live in the 21st century, but I’ll visit you here from time to time. :)

    Happy Canada Day, eh?

Hello!

My name is Julie and I'm 37.
I'm French Canadian and fell
in love with an American,
so I'm now living in Vermont
with my wife.

I write letters, I love stationery and I have a handwriting fetish. I often eat sushi, still feel like I'm 16 and only wear skirts & dresses (with colorful tights when it's cold).

I'm happier with a mind full of ideas, a mailbox full of letters from my penpals, a shop full of stationery, a house full of pens and a day full of hugs.

Read my Top 10 Quirks here.

This is me with my wife,
Denise. We met through the
League of Extraordinary
Penpals and are living
happily ever after in the
Stationery Kingdom.

Denise blogs here too and is
the one in charge of the
social media: Facebook,
Twitter and Pinterest.

She's 40 years old,
from South Dakota,
and in love with me, washi
tape & imperial rolls.
