Weekly Recap

Julie and IĀ are so excited about the upcoming Prize Explosion! that we can hardly stand it! But as they say, all good things come to those who wait. Our patience will be rewarded tomorrow when we kick things off with the first of 30 super duper giveaways! Until then, it’s time for me to share a weekly update with you.

On the Blog:

Kate was our Penpal of the Week on Monday. Kate is an active superhero in the LEP and she has a special place on the couch that she likes to write her letters. You can go see Kate’s pictures and read her interview here.

On Tuesday I shared an Incoming & Outgoing post. There are lots of pretty photos of snail mail that we have sent and received.

We featured Henriika’s quirky penpal ad on Wednesday. She and I have a few things in common; we love old people, we have baby teeth that never fell out on their own and we love cardigans. Maybe you’d like to be penpals with Henriika, check out her ad!

Everybody seems to love owls so we thought we’d give you a new owl stationery to enjoy. On Thursday we revealed SOTW #19, do you love it? I like how the owl’s blue eyes stand out in the midst of the brown tones of the stationery. We just have a few of these notepads left and you have 3 more days to get yours.

Friday was just a little teaser for you, Julie made the announcement about the upcoming month of giveaways.

And then on Saturday we revealed more details of the giveaway. Prize Explosion! is going to be intense, just how we like it! I hope you have daily plans to check in with the blog!

September is sure to bring so many good things! Coolness in the air, pumpkiny things and lots and lots of giveaways. What are you looking forward to in September?

My name is Julie and I'm 37.
I'm French Canadian and fell
in love with an American,
so I'm now living in Vermont
with my wife.

I write letters, I love stationery and I have a handwriting fetish. I often eat sushi, still feel like I'm 16 and only wear skirts & dresses (with colorful tights when it's cold).

I'm happier with a mind full of ideas, a mailbox full of letters from my penpals, a shop full of stationery, a house full of pens and a day full of hugs.

Read my Top 10 Quirks here.

This is me with my wife,
Denise. We met through the
League of Extraordinary
Penpals and are living
happily ever after in the
Stationery Kingdom.

Denise blogs here too and is
the one in charge of the
social media: Facebook,
Twitter and Pinterest.

She's 40 years old,
from South Dakota,
and in love with me, washi
tape & imperial rolls.
