Kay in Canada

Today’s Quirky Penpal Ad is a bit of a mystery. It’s super ironic to me that on the front of Kay’s notecard, she writes “WHoooooooooo ARE YOU?”, because if I could get a hold of Kay, I would like to ask her this exact question, who are you?

Unfortunately, there is no return address and no email address included in this ad. So… I’m hoping that Kay is reading this and can leave us a comment with a way that we can get in touch.

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and we will be taking a few days off of the blog to relax and celebrate together. We fully intend to be spending part of our holidays writing letters, how about you?

If you find yourself having some relaxing down time, I want to encourage you to take the time to create a Quirky Penpal Ad and send it in the mail to us. Just remember to include your email and/or snail mail address. ;)

We are looking forward to being back with you next week. Julie and I want to wish you a Merry Christmas!

  1. Kay, salut tu parles francais?
(Kay hello do you speak French??)

My name is Julie and I'm 37.
I'm French Canadian and fell
in love with an American,
so I'm now living in Vermont
with my wife.

I write letters, I love stationery and I have a handwriting fetish. I often eat sushi, still feel like I'm 16 and only wear skirts & dresses (with colorful tights when it's cold).

I'm happier with a mind full of ideas, a mailbox full of letters from my penpals, a shop full of stationery, a house full of pens and a day full of hugs.

This is me with my wife,
Denise. We met through the
League of Extraordinary
Penpals and are living
happily ever after in the
Stationery Kingdom.

Denise blogs here too and is
the one in charge of the
social media: Facebook,
Twitter and Pinterest.

She's 40 years old,
from South Dakota,
and in love with me, washi
tape & imperial rolls.
