Incoming – Outgoing

You know what they say… you need to send mail if you want to receive mail. Julie and I feel like we’re in a pretty good rhythm of both sending and receiving. This is good news for you, because that means you get to see more photos of mail!

I’ll start with our outgoing pieces.

A femme themed envelope from Julie to Kimmie in New York.

A Christmasy envelope I sent to Maggie in Indiana.

Look at these cute bears from Julie to Connie in Belgium!

I used a Matryoshka Dolls tag on the envelope to Georgette in Ohio.

A blue themed envelope from Julie to Lisa Nicole in California,

as a part of her 36 letters project.

And here is our incoming mail.

A pretty envelope to Julie from Bernadine in the Philippines.

A creative envelope I received from Jennifer in Kansas. She used the return address label I made on the letter I sent her to address her reply back to me.

A retro themed envelope to Julie from Ginger in Washington.

An adorable turtle I received from Jessica in Missouri.

A delightful envelope to Julie from Sara in New Jersey. There is something strange

about this letter: it was postmarked on November 3, but received on January 6.

A floral envelope I received from Maggie in Indiana.

A package of goodies to Julie from Stéphanie in France.

A couple of gorgeous envelopes I received from Sofie in Sweden.

That’s all for now. But I’m really hopeful about our mailbox in 2015, so I’m certain you can count on regular Incoming – Outgoing posts.

  1. I totally love the femme themed envelope. :)

  2. It’s so strange to see your mail that you’ve sent with postmarks on it! lol!

  3. Yay! The letter arrived safely! It’s supposed to be your birthday mail, sorry it came so late!

My name is Julie and I'm 37.
I'm French Canadian and fell
in love with an American,
so I'm now living in Vermont
with my wife.

I write letters, I love stationery and I have a handwriting fetish. I often eat sushi, still feel like I'm 16 and only wear skirts & dresses (with colorful tights when it's cold).

I'm happier with a mind full of ideas, a mailbox full of letters from my penpals, a shop full of stationery, a house full of pens and a day full of hugs.

This is me with my wife,
Denise. We met through the
League of Extraordinary
Penpals and are living
happily ever after in the
Stationery Kingdom.

Denise blogs here too and is
the one in charge of the
social media: Facebook,
Twitter and Pinterest.

She's 40 years old,
from South Dakota,
and in love with me, washi
tape & imperial rolls.
