May SSS Reveal

The SSS reveal posts have been so much fun to do! I love showing everyone the stationery that was included in the La Papierre subscription service each month.

In May it finally started feeling like spring, so I designed this stationery with a bear, a fox, a deer, a hedgehog and some birds. I love walking in the woods, although I hope to never run into a bear…

I absolutely love vintage fashion, and many of the subscribers have been asking for more vintage themed stationery, so here’s the result.

I’ve been on a big Mexican food kick for a few months now, so it was fun to turn my newfound passion into stationery. Isn’t this corn chip fellow adorable?! Look at his mustache!

Finally, I decided to include some airmail themed paper, since it often comes up as a suggestion when new people subscribe to the SSS.

So these were the 4 new La Papierre designs that came out in May. Which one(s) do you prefer? Let us know in the comments below!

If getting a pack of this kind of stationery in your mailbox every month sounds like something you’d love, check out the Stationery Subscription Service. It’s currently open so you can still sign up, and as of June, you’ll be getting 6 brand new designs each month instead of 4. And the best news? You can take advantage of this for as low as $10 per month. Subscribe now!

Our stacks of incoming mail are piling up and taking over. If you know me you know I am troubled by clutter, so it’s well past time for me to share some of our wonderful mail with you so that we can tidy up and file away our envelopes.

I’ll start by showing you Julie’s incoming mail.

This pretty watercolored envelope came from Charlotte in the UK.

There is fun letter art on this envelope that came from Loreen in Massachusetts!

Speaking of letter art… check out this lovely envelope from Julie in Wisconsin!

I’m loving this cute map themed envelope that came from Emy in the UK.

This envelope of goodies came from Lindsay in Alberta.

And now for my incoming mail…

I have not 1, but 3 beautiful envelopes from Sofie in Sweden!

I wish you could see the fullness of the cool effect on this envelope from Sofie!

I always feel so spoiled by Sofie’s mail!

Here is a cute polka dot envelope from Sherri in North Carolina.

From Denise

This delightful envelope from Denise also came from North Carolina.

And now I will share some mail that was sent to both Julie and I.

A pretty valentine from Nicolle in Pennsylvania.

Here is an adorable minimal design on this postcard from Jackie in Ohio.

(Shortly after receiving this card, we were able to meet up with Jackie

two times during her trip to Montreal!)

This elegant envelope and sweet note from Marian in Tennessee put a smile on our faces!

What a beautiful scene on this postcard from Britt in Germany!

She sent it to us from her trip to Venice.

Coming up soon: A post featuring my recent outgoing mail pieces and another post to display even more incoming mail that both Julie and I have received!

Now that I’ve shared this mail with you, I want to ask you about what you do with the mail you receive. Do you store it? Toss it? Recycle it? Head on over to our Facebook page and share with us!

My name is Julie and I'm 37.
I'm French Canadian and fell
in love with an American,
so I'm now living in Vermont
with my wife.

I write letters, I love stationery and I have a handwriting fetish. I often eat sushi, still feel like I'm 16 and only wear skirts & dresses (with colorful tights when it's cold).

I'm happier with a mind full of ideas, a mailbox full of letters from my penpals, a shop full of stationery, a house full of pens and a day full of hugs.

Read my Top 10 Quirks here.

This is me with my wife,
Denise. We met through the
League of Extraordinary
Penpals and are living
happily ever after in the
Stationery Kingdom.

Denise blogs here too and is
the one in charge of the
social media: Facebook,
Twitter and Pinterest.

She's 40 years old,
from South Dakota,
and in love with me, washi
tape & imperial rolls.
