Well, my sneaky wife cut in my blogging line yesterday. It’s ok, she’s pretty and it was for a good cause… to bring you beautiful stationery at a discounted price!
But now it’s my turn and I’m going to feature some of Julie’s outgoing envelopes. These pieces of mail were sent out in 2015 when we still lived in Canada… note the postage stamps and outdated return address!
Pinks and reds for Sara in California.
These cute critters were for Stéphanie in France.
I love anything that involves brown kraft paper…
including this envelope for Rebecca in the UK.
A peeping owl for Marta in Poland.
It’s a dragon on a motorcycle for Elizabeth in the UK.
Pretty earth tones on this envelope for Jackie in Ohio.
This adorable monster was for Alec in Japan.
I love the eye that Julie has for taking illustrations from children’s books and turning them into such amazing envelopes! But then again, I’m a pretty big fan of all Julie’s creativity and imagination!
This evening I’m sitting on the porch where I love to write. I also love to read here. Oh, and work… and people watch. Drink coffee. Pray. Dream. Basically, we have a really great porch and I love to do all the things here.
While I sit here on this dreamy porch tonight, I’m going to share some outgoing pieces of mail that I’ve sent out (not so) recently. In fact, some of them were sent when I was still in Canada!
A pastel winter theme I sent off to Lisa in France.
Brown kraft paper is a favorite of mine.
I used it in this envelope for Emi-Reem in Pennsylvania.
Black & blue for Bonnie in BC.
All my favorite colors in an envelope for Sandra in Germany!
To my favorite Denise in South Carolina.
I like the color combination in this envelope I sent to Caryn in Georgia.
For Barbara in Switzerland.
I sent this simple envelope to Aimee in Texas.
That’s it for now… but tomorrow I will share a post featuring some of Julie’s outgoing mail from over the past few months. She makes the best envelopes out of children’s book pages!
