Our Outgoing Mail

In between mailing La Papierre stationery orders as well as SSS packs and keeping the League of Extraordinary Penpals going, Julie and I do get to send a few pieces of mail sent off to our penpals!

First I will share Julie’s outgoing mail.

This adorable little kitty went to Charlotte in the UK.

This artistic envelope was sent to Emy in the UK.

Cat buddies mailed to Erin in Canada.

This is my very favorite envelope that my wife has made. It was sent to Julie in the States. I love the way the children are gathered around the address!

Lisa in France is a dog lover, so this envelope is perfect for her.

Julie used random elements to dress up this envelope for Rebecca in the UK.

These sleepy bunnies were sent to Sofie in Sweden.

And now I’ll share my outgoing mail with you.

I sent this cute dragon to Sofie in Sweden.

A simple envelope for Sherri in the USA.

This envelope of randomness went to Michelle in the States.

These birds flew to Katie in the States.

I made this envelope out of a doily for Julie in Canada.

This mail themed envelope was for Christopher in the USA.

This envelope for Aimee in the States is full of random goodness.

Sometimes I feel really great about the envelopes I make. And then there are times where my great intentions really turn out to be not so aesthetically pleasing.

Either way, I do really enjoy the process of writing a letter and decorating an envelope and it’s the journey that counts!

July 3rd, 2015

The cats are napping and Julie is designing stationery. So, I figured this would be a good time for me to put together a post to show off some incoming mail.

First, I will start with the incoming mail that Julie has received.

Funny animals from Cindy in British Columbia!

This cute washified envelope came from Rebecca in the UK.

Lots of color involved in this envelope from Kimmie in New York.

Stars & stripes from Sadie in Ontario.

This pretty envelope came from Sara in California.

I can’t believe how the postal worker wrote all over it!

And here are a few pieces of mail that have been sent to both Julie and I!

A sweet thank you note from Christopher in New Jersey.

Doodle in British Columbia sent us a package of washi, stamps and a kind note.

This squirrel’s tale postcard came from Emma in France.

We received a wonderful package of goodies from Felecia in Singapore!

Oh how I love puffins! Katy in the UK brightened our day with this postcard.

LEP love from Millie in Alaska!

Nicole loves the LEP AND the SSS, she sent us a thoughtful notecard to tell us!

And that’s it for today. I’m certain our weekend will involve more snail mail related things: stationery design, letter writing, envelope decorating, etc.

How about you? What are your snail mail related plans for the weekend?

My name is Julie and I'm 37.
I'm French Canadian and fell
in love with an American,
so I'm now living in Vermont
with my wife.

I write letters, I love stationery and I have a handwriting fetish. I often eat sushi, still feel like I'm 16 and only wear skirts & dresses (with colorful tights when it's cold).

I'm happier with a mind full of ideas, a mailbox full of letters from my penpals, a shop full of stationery, a house full of pens and a day full of hugs.

Read my Top 10 Quirks here.

This is me with my wife,
Denise. We met through the
League of Extraordinary
Penpals and are living
happily ever after in the
Stationery Kingdom.

Denise blogs here too and is
the one in charge of the
social media: Facebook,
Twitter and Pinterest.

She's 40 years old,
from South Dakota,
and in love with me, washi
tape & imperial rolls.
