Incoming – Outgoing

Julie and I have been pretty productive lately; we have been sending out quite a bit of mail. And we’ve been receiving a few fun pieces too. I’ll start with the Incoming.

To Julie from her penpal Becky in Texas.

This creative envelope unfolded to show off the full gingerbread man.

FromKimmieTo Julie from her penpal Kimmie in New York. Fun stamps!

And now I’ll show you our Outgoing letters.

Julie and I sent a birthday greeting to our mutual penpal Bonnie in British Columbia.

A wintry themed letter from Julie to her penpal Cindy in British Columbia.

A festive letter from Julie to her penpal Korina in Oregon.

My colorful letter to Adriana in Florida.

This letter from me to Charlotte in the UK has glitter washi tape!

My football themed letter to Kimmie in New York. She beat me in the final championship of our Fantasy League. I’m proud of my 2nd place though.

From Julie to Cecilia in Germany. She was replying a year later

to a letter she received from the post she made in 2013.

And this is a reply from Julie to Paul in Massachusetts.

He wrote to Julie a year ago as well. Better late than never!

From Julie to Romina in Argentina; one more reply from the

birthday mail request post in 2013.

Strawberry 001

A snail mail washified letter from me to Ceri in the UK.

A birthday greeting from me to my penpal Aimee in Texas.

From me to my penpal Sherri in North Carolina. I tried to make an envelope

to match the stationery I wrote the letter on. How did I do?

This post does not include all the wonderful Christmas greetings we have received. Julie will be sharing those photos in a post coming soon.

So far I’ve written 2 letters in 2015 and so did Julie. I’d say that’s a good number since it’s still just the first week of the year. I have a goal of connecting with a postcard penpal this year, as well as an elderly penpal. Do you have any penpal goals for 2015?

My name is Julie and I'm 37.
I'm French Canadian and fell
in love with an American,
so I'm now living in Vermont
with my wife.

I write letters, I love stationery and I have a handwriting fetish. I often eat sushi, still feel like I'm 16 and only wear skirts & dresses (with colorful tights when it's cold).

I'm happier with a mind full of ideas, a mailbox full of letters from my penpals, a shop full of stationery, a house full of pens and a day full of hugs.

Read my Top 10 Quirks here.

This is me with my wife,
Denise. We met through the
League of Extraordinary
Penpals and are living
happily ever after in the
Stationery Kingdom.

Denise blogs here too and is
the one in charge of the
social media: Facebook,
Twitter and Pinterest.

She's 40 years old,
from South Dakota,
and in love with me, washi
tape & imperial rolls.
